Arena Theatre and Beautiful Shadows
Written by Hannah Torrance and Matt Beames
Directed by Neil Reading
About Dark Tales in Winter: The Face
Where is the line drawn between dream and foretelling?
Haunted by a returning nightmare that once plagued her childhood, Hester has come to dread sleep.
With each night come strange visions of an ominous landscape, a grim, unnerving face and whispered, cryptic promises… But who is the owner of the disturbing visage, and what does he want of her…?
In the midst of winter, the Arena Theatre and Beautiful Shadows bring you a new adaptation of E.F. Benson’s The Face.
Supported by University of Wolverhampton and Arts Council England.
